"Field of Dreams" is one of the best sports films ever made, and it is one of the reasons why Kevin Costner is one of the best actors of all time. It is a classic, and it has the classic line, "If you build it, he will come." What he builds is something much more not just for baseball history but for himself.
This film is a classic. It is not only one of the best sports films of all time, it is one of the best films ever. Kevin Costner is a visionary, and he will no doubt be considered one of the best. Most films he makes are gold. "Dances with Wolves" and this film will be considered classics forever. I am so glad seeing him in more big films now, because he is spectacular. His ability to study each character is unheard of. And we could see this especially in "Field of Dreams" and "JFK." He is in five films in 2014, not saying they will be amazing but it is great to see him back in the spotlight. My guess is his best film this year, will be "Draft Day." I don't see him as an action star so much. I see him better as a dramatic, and serious role, much like "Field of Dreams" and "JFK." Nonetheless it is great to see him around for much longer.
