"Dear Zachary" is gripping. This documentary tells the story of Andrew Bagby. Bagby was a fun, loving, caring, and funny doctor who was murdered in his late 20s. The film has all of Andrew's friends and family recollecting his life, all narrated by his good friend Kurt. Kurt was Andrew's lifelong friend, who has been a filmmaker all his life, and decided to make this film for Andrew's son Zachary. It is a fascinating look at a great man. It is a depressing but uplifting and one of the best documentaries on Netflix.
