"Fury" is a Great War Film

"Fury" is a great war film. It tells the story of a five man crew trying to battle their way through WWII with their tank, "Fury." Brad Pitt's character leads the way as the Sergeant who is obsessed with violence, war, and taking down the enemy. His original crew members, Bible, played by Shia LaBeouf, Gordo, played by Michael Pena, and Coon-Ass, played by Jon Bernthal,, are on his side with the same objective. In the beginning of the film one of their gunman gets killed and is replaced by Norman, played by Logan Lerman. Norman is a very shy young kid trying to get through the experience every way he can. But overtime, his Sergeant helps him turn out to be a ruthless as him.

This film is very well made. It is a different kind of film because it is a war film. We first jump into the action in the first few scenes. We do not really learn much about the characters, but more on the setting and the situation the five men are in. However, the film has great effects, and the violence was pretty spot on. The best part about this film is the great cast. Brad Pitt and Michael Pena do an amazing job as always. Brad Pitt outdid himself and he was ruthless and cruel but we still loved him. Michael Pena does a very good job at having comedic moments but also knows how to become serious. Shia LaBeouf was actually great in this film. He provided a fantastic addition for this film and we felt for him throughout. Logan Lerman is very surprising in this film. He did a spectacular job because of his transformation. The shy, innocent Logan Lerman we have grown to love has a complete 180 towards the end which makes his role so exciting to watch. This is a great film to see.
