"Rushmore" is an Indie Classic

"Rushmore" is a great Indie flick. It has Max, played by Jason Schwartzman, who goes to Rushmore Prep. He is essentially the King of Rushmore Prep because he is apart of everything. Clubs, Drama, you name it. Max's life changes when he meets Miss Cross, played by Olivia Williams. He is intoxicated with her, and he can't help but to fall in love with her. Unfortunately he is only fifteen and it cannot work out. Also, Max is friends with Herman Blume, played by Bill Murray. Blume is a rich industrialist who takes a liking to Miss Cross. The love triangle gets to Max and he tries to resolve this problem.

This film is so great because of the great directing and writing by Wes Anderson. He is a genius when it comes to films. His quirky and hilarious story lines blend together to make great films that have hidden meanings. This film was to supposed to show that true love cannot always become realistic. He uses hilarious antics through his characters to make the story come together so well. Also, in this film the acting was spectacular. Bill Murray is usually in Anderson's films and he is always dynamite. He is a great actor that can play any role he wants. Also, this was Jason Schwartzman's first film and he did fantastic. This film is very different and odd, but it is an Indie classic. Please Go See This Film!
