"Citizen Kane" Analysis

This film really shows how money cannot buy happiness. Some people want to have a large fortune and to have an incredible amount of class and wealth and to be looked as a god. Charles Foster Kane showed that money could make people blind in the sense that wealthy people forget about the people that care for them and not always give them the respect they deserve. Kane did not know what love really was because he given away as a child and his guardian did not treat him like a parent. He thought giving people materialistic things were they way to live. After his demise of the last person in his life leaving, Susan, he realizes the only time he was actually happy was when he was a child with his parents and money is not everything.
